About Us
Motorialsport is a family owned business that began in 1982. Dave Seeley and Tom Batchelor started out with SWM, added Fantic in 1985 and the following year Aprilia. They transported the bikes and parts in a Wells cargo trailer pioneering parts and service “at the event.”
SWM dissolved, Dave Seeley left in 1992, Aprilia left after their 1994 World Championship model, and Fantic’s last model was in 1997. With the help of Mike Komer and the Tryals Shop, Mototrialsport began a new era in 1998 with the Rotax powered Scorpa. Ryan Young invited Tom to join the Sherco team in 2000, and Martin Belair made Montesa available in 2002.
Sherco has the largest line-up of available models from the 50cc air cooled kid's bike, to the Flagship 2.9 2-stroke. The 3.2 4-stroke will enter its third year of production in January of 2007. Scorpa's latest 2007 Flagship model is now available – a 250cc 5 valve 4-stroke model powered by Yamaha. The 2007 model SY250 2-stroke will continue for at least another model year. Montesa enjoyed another banner year with its 4RT, a fuel injected 4-stroke 250cc model and has made several improvements for the 2007 model.
Mototrialsport will have the largest line-up of 2 and 4-stroke trials motorcycles in Texas! Look for us (Tom and Vicky) at the next event in the Raptor fifth wheel toy box trailer. We carry our complete inventory of bikes, parts, and accessories to most all of the major events in the state. We look forward to meeting you! |
